The Delaware River cuts through a large ridge of the Appalachian Mountains, splitting Pennsylvania and New Jersey, where you will find an array of outdoor adventures.  Our adventure of choice was canoe camping, where we used some of the abundant boat launches to access the river, paddle downstream, and camp for free at river front campsites!

On May 18th of 1980, a series of earthquakes shook the ground causing one of the world’s largest landslides down the North side of Mount St. Helens. This shifting rock allowed for an eruption that exploded laterally out to the North, and created what is now known as the Blast Zone.
